Topic: „Continuing a good start to a good end."
“In Chinese, there’s a word. It’s called Yuan Meng.
Every dream must be fulfilled. That is very important.”
Master Dean Li
Dà Hán is the last solar term of winter. Winter reaches its peak, its utmost darkness – yet simultaneously holds the promise of the impending dawn. Dà Hán shows us that spring and a new beginning are not far off. A new cycle of 24 solar terms is about to begin. Life consistently provides us with the opportunity to evolve and start something good.
“When starting something new now, we must focus on flowing with this natural energy.”
Master Dean Li
If something is good, one wants it to continue to be good. The quality of this solar term, Dà Hán, lies in providing us with alignment, so our energy remains stable and strong. This way, we can bring to a good end what we have started.
„Everyone has beautiful ideas and plans for their future. There are people who pursue and work on their plans and ideas until they come true. They always stay in touch with this original idea – the energy of the beginning – despite all obstacles. Some people start just as enthusiastically but lose connection in difficulties or even give up halfway, opting for another plan. Such people will never achieve their goals because they spend their lives making plans and abandoning them.“ (Ming Ling, The Dao in the Dao)
In the shared practice with the Chinese, we can build strength and clarity to realize our vision of a better world. On the way, we must solve various tasks. For this, we need the clarity of all elements. Each contributes with their element in their own way. This way, the new world becomes vibrant, bright, and peaceful.
Tip for January: Use the clarity of nature as inspiration
Consciously feel:
Use the clarity of nature as inspiration. During this time, it is crucial to consciously feel what one can and wants. The clarity of the cold helps us, for example, to develop concepts more clearly, plan important steps, and feel if everything fits well and harmonizes.
What fears?
The cold shows us what is unclear and what ancestral fears are still at work in us. Now at ip Dà Hán we can heal them.
TCM practice:
The cold shows us what is unclear and what fears of ancestors still linger within us. Now, during ip Dà Hán, we can heal them. In TCM practice, it is essential to harness the power of winter to start optimally in spring. Preserve constitutional life energy and nurture clean Yang-Qi.
“By carefully preserving and staying connected to the energy from this state now,
we can make a big leap and transform directly at any moment.”
Master Dean Li
