The meaning of Qīngmíng, 清明: Qīng means clear and Míng means to have understood. In Qīngmíng, in China, one remembers the ancestors and at the same time looks to the new, the coming, the growing and flourishing. One can say that Qīngmíng unites the past and the future.
Special energy flows in Qīngmíng.
If you are clear and have understood, then the energy can flow on to mum, great-grandma, family, friends…
Each solarterm has its own task, just as our heart or liver has its own task. There are also different tasks in each time. Therefore, in every year of Qīngmíng, there is this quality of energy. Because the energy in nature is so clear and bright right now, we can easily and well connect with it and move on.
In every year, Qīngmíng is different. Just as each generation is different and brings something new. If we focus on this, we can feel all this information. From us to our ancestors, we can come to a common understanding. Therefore, at Qīngmíng, we honour our ancestors and find in them the original connection to them.
If we do DEAN-ip together with our Chinese friends and our ancestors, we find more information. In this way we can build up more energy for ourselves and for the relatives and friends.
If many people concentrate on this exercise at this time,
if more people practice together at this time, the information will be stronger.
Artificial intelligence, for example, is getting better and better as more data becomes available. We also understand more clearly and develop better when we get more information. The more we understand, the more energy we have and it flows between us and the ancestors. This is how we build a new world together.
