大暑 (Dàshǔ) Extreme Heat

The last solarterm of summer is Dàshǔ, 大暑. “Dà” means “big, strong, extreme” and “shǔ” means “heat”. Dàshǔ is in the hottest time of the year. By “hot” is meant a form of energy that is very strong, can set a lot in motion.
Everyone experiences this extreme heat differently. Some people experience it as pressure, especially children sense it. At such times we can feel more clearly, as things that are otherwise hidden come to the surface more easily. These can be fears and worries, for example. They often cause an inner restlessness that can easily cloud the spirit and vision as inner heat. This is how we get out of balance.
People think: What a heat! How can I deal with this?
You can do something if you are connected to the spirit.
The spirit shows you how you can do something and what.
Dealing with extremes and developing well
When we are born we are still completely free, you can say everything is balanced. In further contact with the environment, we quickly get into a state of imbalance that leads us away from the original harmony. Thus we get into extremes at a young age and most of the time we have not learned to deal with them or to balance them. If the imbalance becomes too great, it can even prevent us from growing spiritually in a natural way.
Taking advantage of Dàshǔ as a transformation process
Step by step, we evolve. But how many times do we need to be cast and how many times forged before we renew ourselves comprehensively? To deform a metal, it has to be heated, forged and heated again many times. Then it becomes pliable and a new shape can emerge. The “hot” energy of Dàshǔ helps us to do this. It acts as a strong force of transformation, from this connection a new spiritual clarity can arise.
When we practice alone, we can feel the energy.
But that is not enough. We need the spirit connection.
When we practice together in ip Dàshǔ, it is for the spirit.
It is so essential for our spiritual awakening to understand this connection. It is like a key to our power. All paths and approaches to the spirit are individual, everyone needs something different to unfold well. Beyond that, it is crucial that there is a collective understanding. Then there are so many more possibilities for our growth. The more people find this connection, the stronger the force.
